Study: Smartphone Sales to Reach 300 Million in 2013

The consumer appetite for smartphones is soaring. Market research firm Parks Associates projects that annual smartphone sales worldwide will climb from 131 million units in 2008 to over 300 million by 2013. The firm's report Mobile Services: Global Outlook finds that smartphone users worldwide will top 1.1 billion in 2013.
