4 Stars Gunship able to topple any foe!
Well, two things I liked about this toy. Theres so many things that move! Even though this toy was a little expensive, I made good use of it. The doors slide open the gun turrets on either side move, and many other good things.
Love this toy,
STAR WARS FAN

5 Stars It is cool
It is my coolest lego set i’ve had so far we’ll see yah.
5 Stars I had to write this on the 50th anniversary of Lego’s birthday
Yes, Lego is 50 years old, a fact touted by Google today. Since my son has this (now discontinued or retired) set, I thought I’d put in a word about how cool the Star Wars sets are.
He found it very, very hard to build when he put it together or “too young” (his words). It took three days and I can testify to how proud he felt, after getting together nearly 700 pieces (I think it was about 685 pieces).
Details worth noting: secret compartments and features that make for hours of imaginative play. We did have one bad day when a younger brother, just learning to walk, fell and destroyed hours of work but the older brother persevered (and learned something about patience and dealing with setbacks).
There are tiny figures that add to the fun such as troopers, droids and more. This one kept him occupied for hours.
The major benefits of Star Wars and other Legos:
1. They help develop an attention to detail and make reading directions fun and worth the time. There is a clear payoff for the time involved and kids love looking at the results of all that hard work. Our son has his right next to his soccer trophies.
2. Kids can create their own works and then turn around and make the “official” version. Also, the tie-in to Star Wars, resonant, evocative.
3. Adults often maintain an affection for Legos and keep collecting them.
4. If you do some research online, you’ll discover that Legos are considered one of the most “trusted toys” around. I have my theories about why this is so. Part of the appeal is that they start with easy sets and then work up to harder ones. There have been imitations but people seem to come back to the classic Lego sets.
Just don’t make the mistake we did. Hang on to the boxes and original instructions.
5 Stars Jake Bones’ review
This toy is awesome. It comes with clone pilots, a droideka, two super battle driods, and my favorite, Obiwan Kanobi. You’ll love this set when you buy it.
