1 Stars Not a good buy
The Darth Maul Lightsaber broke the first time my son used it.
I put it back together, but the one side continued to come apart each time he tried to open it.
After about 5 fixes or so, it finally broke for good and I am unable to put it back together.
I was refunded my money on the product, but it was a dissapointment.
I am unable to find this product in stores, so I guess it won’t be replaced, which saddened my son.
It could be a good product if it worked, it is just a bit sad that it wasn’t what we expected.
1 Stars For Costume Use ONLY!!!
The good news about this product was I purchase this for my son yesterday at a Spirit Halloween store, when everything was 50%. The bad news it broke in the first 30 minutes of playing with it and it continued to break every few minutes. I had to tape it together for him to be able to use it. Fortunately my son still loves it despite the quality but remember this one is not like the better quality lightsabers you get in the $25 -$35 range, this is strictly for costume use only and not for typical boy use.

Okay, my son loves Star Wars, of course and had to have this double sided light saber. The price wasn’t bad. Unfortunately the plastic pulls out easily when extended and then you have to take it apart to put it back together again. Still he loves it.
1 Stars Poorly made toy
I had to tape this double light saber after the first day. Though I had read similar reviews, I wanted to get this toy for my 7 year old, thinking that I could probably fix it. The tape works, but I would have spent another $5 for a higher quality toy. Yes, there are double light sabers for hundreds of dollars that I would never spend, and now I see another new double saber out for this ‘09 season.
4 Stars Child Loved It - mom not so much
I have to admit, the child loved the product. Was thrilled when it was opened, was thrilled when the child played with it. The child thought it was so cool! However, product only lasted 4 weeks (sometimes that’s not a bad thing). The product was not very durable and came apart or broke easily. I would recommend if it’s for a “short” period of time or if the child is not going to use the product. But if you are looking for something that will last, this is not it.
