2 Stars Not worth it
Although this costume is nice…it did not work at all. The jumpsuit was somehow backwards (so that my son was forced to tie it in the front rather than the back so the shoe covers faced the right way). Not only did he have to wear it backwards, the helmet was very poorly designed. Because the eye slots were incorrectly positioned, we had to pull it down a bit. It completely smooshed my son’s nose, because it was flat. He ended up not wearing it all because it bothered him so much.
1 Stars Lost shipment
This was my worst Amazon shopping experience. UPS supposedly delivered the product to the street outside my door. I never received it. I received no response whatsoever from the shipper when trying to trace the package. Do Not Buy from this shipper.
2 Stars Helmet is a nose-smasher
The costume is cute but the product photo is misleading and the helmet just doesn’t work at all. The eye slot is too high relative to the nose air holes, but worst of all, the helmet is flat-fronted so the poor kid’s nose has to be smashed the whole time! It probably could be jerry-rigged to work if you put pads at the place where the kids cheeks are so as to push out the helmet, but since the eye slot is too high anyway, it’s not worth it. In order to see, the helmet has to be pushed down, so the kid’s hair is clearly seen, which was not what the photo leads you to imagine. Finally, size 8-10 is right for a 7-8-year-old.
