That is exactly where this piece of trash is right now. It wasn’t used in a rough way, but the ultra thin telescoping “blades” broke apart and won’t go back together. Do not buy! It’s impossible to find a Darth Maul double light saber, so we immediately bought this for my son. I should have passed, since not having one would have been so much better than being in tears when we had to throw it away. Terrible quality at a high price!

It’s awful - broke the first time my son picked it up. Flimsy, poorly made and very expensive. I have a super bummed out 8 year old on my hands and wished I had checked these reviews first.

The Darth Maul Light Saber is a great toy and a good value. My grandson LOVES it!
3 Stars Not too durable but still a big hit
We couldn’t find this sword ANYWHERE but Amazon.com! My son had one piece of the saber “come apart” on Christmas Day. He’s 8 so he wasn’t excessively rough with it so I’m not sure what happened. He still loves it and still plays with it but after about a week we can plan on repairing that same side at least once a day. FORTUNATELY he still loves it!

I don’t think that I have ever gotten anything that was such a pile of junk in my life. It broke with-in 5 mins of my 5 year old son playing with it. Amazon should remove this item form their website. I wouldn’t pay a penny for this thing let alone 25. As a matter of fact, they should pay me after seeing the disappointment on my child’s face.
TAKE MY ADVICE, A PAPER PLATED WOULD LAST LONGER.
