My husband is a huge Star Wars fan, and has wanted a light saber of high quality “as close to a real lightsaber as you can get” for some time. I bought this for him and he is very pleased. This is a great collector’s piece. The power up and power down visual and audio effects are awesome. The other audio effects are inconsistent, but still really cool. You have to swing it just right to get it to make the sound. It’s supposed to make a sound when it contacts something as well, but we haven’t tried too hard to get that one - we don’t want to break it. The blade is plastic and fairly durable, but not meant for real play. It is NOT a toy for kids. We have it mounted on our wall.

My 8 year old son got this for Christmas, and its the coolest lightsaber! The sound effects are great, and the blade is as realistic as you can get. It has not broken yet in the hands of an 8 year old, so I think we are doing pretty good. It seems very well made. Hands down, if you are a mega Star Wars fan, you’ll love this lightsaber!
